Upcycling Polyester
This selection of garments comes from the same material: printable polyester for banners, which has been repurposed into durable, wearable clothing. The process to achieve the final result involved constructing fashion patterns.
These pieces were created between 2022 and 2023, ranging from long-sleeve shirts, sweaters, and shorts, to other garments. All were handmade, and each piece is a limited edition.
The use of polyester banners in this collection highlights an innovative approach to sustainable fashion by giving a second life to materials that would otherwise contribute to waste. By upcycling industrial materials into wearable garments, this process reduces the demand for new textiles and minimizes environmental impact. Each piece, hand-constructed using traditional fashion pattern-making methods, reflects the growing movement towards slow fashion—focusing on quality, longevity, and conscious production.
The uniqueness of every limited edition item emphasizes the craftsmanship and creative reuse of existing resources, underscoring a commitment to sustainability in the fashion industry.
The attached images visually demonstrate the transformation of polyester into wearable art, showing the garments’ bold designs and vibrant colors, which add a distinctive edge to this eco-conscious collection.
